Introduction
SABRE Risk proudly supported one of our clients in Abu Dhabi for this year's Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Yasalam After-Race Concerts.
We supported our client with Executive Protection, Tactical and Strategic Security Governance, and Specialized Guarding Provisions, including QRF (Quick Response Force), Access Control (BOH), and PIT Barrier Operations.
SABRE Risk were engaged to deliver a Threat-Vulnerability Risk Assessment, which drove the over-arching Security Operational Plan, and Standard Operating Procedures. A breakdown of our deployment included a Head of Security (Silver Command), a Deputy Head of Security, and five Security Managers (Bronze Command), with a large team of specialized guardforce force-multiplying standard guardforce in critical areas of the event site.
Our management team were responsible for managing a team of over 400 security guards and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. We worked with tour security to facilitate security riders, and support with accreditation, and in-country Executive Protection support.
With our knowledge and expertise, we were able to integrate stakeholders, and implement and deliver a successful security strategy. The event itself went without any major incident, or venue ejections, ingress and egress were both safe, and consistent, enabling a seamless guest experience, this was down to a combined team effort from the events team, and sound planning and management.
Over the four days, over 100,000 people attended the concerts, with a number of nights exceeding anticipated attendance figures, the overall event was a huge success, primarily down to a combined team effort by all involved.
